Your experience with a Dually vs SRW hauling 5ver

For 9 yrs I towed my 14K GVW Cedar Creek (about 12.6K actual) with our 2008 GMC 2500 CC Short bed SRW D/A. The trailer definitely pushed the truck around at times. When we knew we were going to be upgrading to a heavier trailer, we bought a 2017 GMC 3500 DRW D/A CC long bed. WOW, what a total difference. I barely knew the Creek was back there. The Stability was so much better.

Now that we have a much heavier rig, we'll always tow with a dually and I won't be trading back down until I give up RVing.
