Infared heaters are hard to beat for heating an RV or even a small house.We use ours in both and it does a great job for a 1500 watt heater.They can be had for less than $100 now,well worth it.
I keep looking at these. And there is no info on the label about how it works ie what type of elements and if it is hot to the touch. All of them are 1500 watt but the BTU's can differ.
What I like about the ceramic heaters, from a safety standpoint in an RV, is it NOT hot to the touch which the ceramic offers.
This one that you have is it hot to the touch? Does that wood box get hot?
