I keep looking at these. And there is no info on the label about how it works ie what type of elements and if it is hot to the touch. All of them are 1500 watt but the BTU's can differ.
Mine is not hot to the touch. My wife sets here stuff on it when in use.I have tried about every portable heater on the market and this is by far the best for heating an RV..Ours came with the house we bought or I probably would not have tried it because of the cost of them back then. Now there less than $100 for some brands..
The heat is hot and the blower blows more air than the smaller heaters. We use it in our 30ft trailer with a super slide and it heats the trailer by itself within reasonable temps..We also use it in the house(1300 square feet) and it also does a great job at keeping it comfy...
This heater is surprising for a 1500 watt heater.I have another new 1500 watt heater in my 21 ft motorhome now running on 900 watts and the airflow out of that heater isn't even close to the airflow coming out of this one but I can run the little one on 600-900 or 1500 watts and fan only, something you can't do with this one.More compatible with boondocking.
