Who owns golf carts and takes them camping and on RV trips. Well, I do. Let's see some pictures of everyone's special golf cart. Here's mine!Gasser Cart has: 6" Lift kit, 22" wheels, custom air brush paint job, and soon to get an engine swap from 350cc to 680cc for a bit more power.

Very nice looking cart! It would be great to have one sometimes, especially at a couple of the much larger campgrounds that I have been to, and it is a long walk to the clubhouse for lunch or dinner. Many times it was dark after dinner, and the park is not all that well lit. My buddy has one of these! It will go 10 MPH and has a pair of group 24 batteries, for a range of about 20 miles. It lasts all day at Disneyland! Best thing is it was small enough to take into Disneyland! And I could keep up with my daughter in her electric wheelchair!Fred.

WE have a summer RV lot and keep Li'l Red there all summer. 1999 Yamaha that we bought two years ago that was used about 12 times to shoot clays and never on a golf course. I did the lights, horn and rear seat, plus 2" lift to aid loading in back on pickup. Recently put four seat belts in it. Ride it in the fall and spring in our private community.

How to you carry it with you with a FW?

We have a club car typical Florida cart paint, strips, chrome, etc. We leave it in Florida. Our park is very large and it is in a Golf Course. it is handy there. We would have no use for it otherwise.

I can only speak for myself, but I have never heard of that. And I have not experienced that issue when pulling my golf cart/trailer to the Texas Coast behind my 5th wheel. I generally pull it about 350 miles round trip from San Antonio area to Port Aransas and back home.

I stopped at a local used cart dealer looking for a mirror. I told him I was concerned about the overall length (64 feet, we are legal to 65) and he told me the story about the turbulence. Don't know if he was just blowing hot air or not?

I could see that as an issue. just four bolts hold my plastic top on. Chris

I have never had a problem either. I have even pulled it on a semi trailer at speeds that exceeded 80MPH without any problems. When on the semi trailer it was behind the truck sleeper.

My golf cart stays home when we take off in the rv. However we do take our two 36 volt electric bicycles. The bikes are easier to haul and are very versatile. They will go about 15-20 mph for at least ten miles. I can pedal, or not, and most people just think I am riding my beach cruiser bike through the camp ground or to the local store.

Yep. The range on the ebike is unlimited, if you pedal.. But I like to pedal slow without effort while the motor does the work. Styling on my beach cruiser.

Funny thing tho, at home, we usually take the golf cart to visit the neighborhood and leave the electric bikes in the garage.
