> rent a Florida PO box
We are NOT discussing renting a Florida PO box.
We are discussing filing a legal declaration of domicile, changing your d/l and everything else to Florida, severing all ties to your previous state, and all of a sudden you're disenfranchised. I believe it's definitely unconstitutional to disenfranchise a class, in this case fulltime RVers, sailors etc.
And yes, the supervisor is a Republican, but I don't think this is a Republican thing and he's making a good-faith effort. In 2015 there were 73,489 Republicans registered versus 31,041 Domocrats so I doubt there's fear of a Blue Wave.
This potentially affects all Florida-domiciled fulltime RVers, sailors and other travelers who no longer have a sticks'n'bricks address as in "you're a fulltimer so you don't get to vote."
So red or blue, if you're one of those you may be out of luck in 2018 and 2020. Doesn't seem right to me.
