When I went to get my FL plates the DMV accepted a well know forwarding address for full timers AND at the same time asked me if I wanted to also register to vote!!
But my bank back home will NOT accept this address. I can have my statements mailed there but they will not let me order checks using that address. (Thanks to all that voted that the patriot be renewed):R
I will note that all forwarding mail outfits used for full timers are on the patriot act data base as not an actual address. The days of claiming domicile are slowing coming to an end they are on to everyone doing it.
The one that is not in the patriot act data base is USPS. That still comes up as a legit address. This is NOT the post office it is a mail service.That said I have bought property here and still maintain my postal service as a mailing address.
I don't believe full timers or snow birds that do NOT 'live permanently" in the state should be able to vote. Come on can you really honestly say that you KNOW the people running and what they are running for, AND the real issues in these small towns?
