66 too old to full time
We are thinking of selling our s & b and full timing. My husband is 66 and I am 67 and we are in good health at this time. Has anyone started at those ages?

- Nothing is carved in stone. Go for it now! You can always return to a S&B lifestyle if you want / need to.
- I sure hope that 66 is not too old. My wife will be 66 and 1'll be 64 and I hope to get at least 10 years of full timing.

We are 73 years old and have a lot of full-timing left. It isn't an age thing. It just depends on what you want to do and what you don't want to do. The best bet would be to have a home and a travel trailer. Do both.- i think full timing at older age makes you feel younger. 72 and been full timing 4 years. beats sitting around house getting old.

- Wow, I guess we almost waited too long. We were both 66 when we took off on our full time adventure 1.5 years ago.
Ken - I consider that prime time to go Fulltime.
Our first year, we met a couple in their 80's that had only been FTing for a few years. They waited too long and had some regrets. But he had heart surgery and a knee replacement after they began fulltiming. He said it was just as easy to recuperate in their MH as in a SnB's. amandasgramma wrote:

Welcome to the Lifestyle! Happy Trails!- Full-timing should not be determined on the basis of age but more a function health. As long as we are healthy enough to drive and set up safely we will stay on the road.
- How old are you going to be if you don't full-time????
Go for it ! You can unwind the decision if it doesn't go well.
