You're stressed out. People daydream when stressed. Not saying it's a bad idea or can't work out for you but, it can be hard to be objective when you just plain want to get off the stressful "merry-go-round" you feel trapped on. The career stress will still be there no matter what you live in.
Most when asked "how much money do you need to save before you retire?", don't have a clue. They don't know the "magic" number, they just need a little more. Just a little more money, a little less debt, and on and on they go.
Get out of the rat race sooner rather than later. It can be done sooner than you think. Leaving in the RV won't solve the stress issue for long.
