We are in our mid 50's and have been married 41 years. Our home is paid for. We have set a retirement date of 11/1/14! We will sell the house, but save part of the money for our "exit" plan when we are tired of full-timing...if that happens. Then we will buy something smaller than our 5 bedroom home as we just don't need it and it's too much to keep up with the large yard, garden and shop! We have the truck and 5th wheel to retire in, and are very excited. Thinking about pushing the date up a little....LOL :) I say, just do it! Tomorrow is not promised to anyone!
