Golfr61- Traveling Nurses do quite well on the road. We've encountered a young couple who were both nurses and they were saving enough money to buy a home back in WV.
DH makes enough so I don't feel the need to work. There are sacrifies, which means only one vehicle and I watch pennies to make sure we stay on a tight budget. If I really wanted to work, because of boredom, I could find a Workamping position at one of the many RV Parks we stay in or find a job locally. But then that means a 2nd vehicle, so I'd rather stay home and save by making his lunch and have dinner ready shortly after he gets home. Win Win
