Thanks for the great advice everyone. Since we have 2-3 years (at least) to plan and decide, I think we are going to find a rig we like and try to travel in as much as possible of the next few years. We will put back as much as possible to have a nest egg as well. Then we will decide whether we want to full time right away or work another 4 or 5 years after retirement to build that nest egg up even more, then full time without having to worry about any financial concerns. That will put us between 50-55, still plenty young to enjoy our travels...
Oh, and the wife really liked the idea of getting on with FEMA or the Red Cross and going where they need us at times to help out. We still want to be productive and feel like we are able to serve...
