Advice for flying trips while on the road

I lived in the Orlando area for about 20 years and have a piece of advice.
I don't know where you're going or which carrier you're using, but consider going out of the airport in Sanford if possible. It's MUCH less busy. One time I dropped my daughter at the door and by the time I got back on the freeway, she had already gotten thru security and was at her gate. It had to be less then 10 minutes.
I do realize that your chosen carrier may not fly out of there so this might not work out.
