If your definition of "active" full timing actually is national parks, hiking, biking, sight seeing etc., you will be fine with $5,000 per month, depending, of course, on special needs like health costs. If that definition changes to RV resorts, golfing, sporting events, dining out, concerts, shows etc. you budget might be way low. These budget questions appear often, and no matter how high or low the figure is, some people thrive below the number and some people will struggle at many times the number.
