I agree with you - Absolutely do-able. I do think your estimated CG cost ($50/day)is a little high, especially as you plan on staying in National Parks as much as possible. On the other hand, it's always smart to plan for the worst - then maybe you can be pleasantly surprised !
* FWIW, I set up a separate savings account for 'maintenance'. I push money into it each month and let it accumulate for oil changes, tires, etc.
