Wi-Fi spots will be very few and far between in the parks you describe visiting. Even if you have your own hot spot, coverage can be spotty in the more out of the way places and if you need a lot of bandwidth, it can get very pricey quickly.
That said, 5K/month is well above the average debt-free fulltimers budget. Cost won't be the issue. Connectivity might be.
