I wrote to him and explained he can only have one domicile at a time. He just wont listen to me and sez nothing sez he can't sign up in KY and that he used to be a CPA. I sent him the Escapees PDF How to become a Real Texan
You are right that you can only have one domicile, but he WILL have to pay income tax in the state it is earned in. Federal tax in SD, state tax in KY (or wherever you earn the money).
I don't know about the aca issue.
