I use three heat sources:
I do not use the built in thermostats in the electric heaters. Instead, I use the
LUX WIN100 electronic thermostats (they use a lithium cell for timekeeping and memory). The thermostats are set as follows:
I just have to remember to turn off the radiator when using the µwave oven.
- Primary is an oil filled radiator (1500W) with an 8" fan behind it to circulate the heated air.
- Secondary is a "milk-house" utility heater (1250W)
- Backup is the propane furnace.
