I would buy either a large storage shed or a conex container and put a washer / dryer and extra refrigerator in it - then you'll have lots of extra storage space for clothes. Not that you want to run out to the container to get dressed, but you can move your seasonal clothes and some that you seldom wear out there.
The washer will save trips to the laundromat and your time. You can use the extra refer space - look for a used one on Craig's List.
If you go traveling, you don't have to take all of your stuff with you, leave some of it in the container.
