We second the recommendation to join the Escapees RV Club. We have been members for over 20 years. Full timed for 10 years (1996-2006)and bought a lot at the Escapees Rainbow Plantation in Summerdale, AL. We built a house there in 2006 and only RV about 5,000 miles per year now. We have used the Escapees mail forwarding service for most of the past 20 years and highly recommend it.
As others have said, you will need to get out of vacation traveling mode and slow down. We found that over time we did not want to average more than 50 miles per day (drive 200 miles and stay 4 days or don't exceed 1,500 miles per month). You may find that you are comfortable traveling more or less than 50 miles per day, on average, but that's what worked for us.
