Florida Toll Road Bills

Our class A and toad have SD plates on them and our domicile is SD. Last year we went to Florida and used the turnpikes a bit but never received a bill in the mail. Is this common? Is their someplace I can check to make sure nothing is owed? Don't mind paying and surely don't want to get stopped saying I didn't pay. We are in Thailand this time of the year so phone calls and being placed on hold is not an option. Thanks for any help.
  • Some we did pay for the coach and toad. There were others that said Sunpass or plate photo and we send you a bill.

I should be more clear. These were locations that have no toll booth and have big signs that say do not stop.
  • Are you saying you can drive through the e-pass lanes without a pass and they will mail you the toll based on your tag number? Sounds good, but not sure I would feel comfortable doing it. I drove the Florida Turnpike to Orlando and back north when visiting Ft. Wilderness this past December. I just pulled up to the toll booth and paid. Since I don't plan on being back in Florida anytime soon it didn't make sense to get a pass.
  • You will need to get this figured out or risk getting stopped or worse next time you're in Florida
  • I got a bill in the mail from a Florida toll booth when I'm positive I paid. I have never had a Sunpass or drove through one of those lanes. The bill had a photo of my truck. It was the same booth that we drove through several times while staying at Ft. Desoto. It was only a couple dollars and not worth contesting it.
  • I just sent florida an email with my tag number.

I have a really bad mail forwarder in SD , the address where the vehicles are registered. They dont tell you if you have any mail, you have to request the mail and spend big money to send whatever is in your mailbox. Right out of the 60's. (Do your research!)

I have almost all mail sent to my forwarder in Houston, which works real well. They scan on arrival so you can give instructions to trash or forward. I understand their are other good ones in SD that do this, time for a change.

    Thanks for the help.

  • I got a bill in the mail about three weeks after we got home from our last trip to Florida. I distinctly remember hearing "cha ching" going off in my head every time I drove under those **** cameras. The website is https://www.tollbyplate.com but you need your invoice number to get anywhere. Maybe there is a phone number you could call.
