Full Time campground suggestions - NC

Our home is sold and we should be passing papers on it this month and will be heading down to Emerald Isle, NC to stay. We hope to travel in the Summer and stay at a CG during the other months. Can someone suggest of a CG they have stayed at that is reasonable on an Annual basis. My wife wants to stay at one that is no more than 10 mi. from Emerald Isle and I want one that is not on the beach because of the corrosive nature of the salt air on the RV and because we would be open to storms having to tie down. Any suggestion is welcome.

    I am reading that you want to stay in one spot for a year. Is that right? Most people move around. Many parks give good monthly rates.

    This is a favorite of ours when we want to really get away from it all. I know they have seasonal sites and it is about 10 miles from Emerald Isle. Good luck and have fun! Hope to be in retirement status in 23 months and 11 days!
