Our camper has an oversized kitchen sink. It must be 10" deep. A big sink was a "must have" when we were looking for an RV. And not mounted in a peninsula because I'm a really sloppy dish washer.
A big pet peeve for me were the undersized, over priced and clearly inferior appliances. I finally changed out the 4 door Norcold refrigerator for a Samsung. My DW now packs enough meat in the freezer to last us all winter because she doesn't like the selection and price of meat in Florida.
Now I'm eyeballing the little 24" Atwood range. Standard drop in ranges are 30" but that's why they make Sawzalls.
Until I can change it out, to deal with the uneven heating of the oven in the Atwood, we bought a 12" X 12" clay tile and put in on the rack under the pans. (kind of like a pizza stone) It helps and only costs a buck.
I'm considering taking out all of the kitchen cabinetry and installing one of those ingenious kitchen packages from IKEA. They are designed for tiny European kitchens and ought to work excellent in a camper.
In retrospect, in one of those "If I knew then what I know now" scenarios, when shopping for a full time RV I'd have insisted on more then just a full size sink. It would have also included residential grade appliances and better storage than just a door in front of a hole.
I still wouldn't loose the space to a dishwasher. It just isn't that big of a deal to wash dishes for two people if you have a decent sink.
I have to go, there's a sink full of dirty dishes I need to attend to.
