The more storage space you have the more stuff you are going to be carrying around with you. Maybe you want to carry a lot of stuff but for me, one of the things about full timing was downsizing and simplifying my life. The more storage space I have the more stuff I am going to buy to put in that space.
I have a 5th wheel because I don’t want to have to get auto insurance on 2-vehicle engines as I would with a Class-A; MH engine & toad engine. Insurance on a 5th wheel and tow vehicle is a lot cheaper than insurance on a Class-A and toad vehicle. Regardless, I think most Class-A’s have more storage space than 5th wheels of the same size.
