We full-time for extended periods in all kinds of weather and every Season.
I like to be comfortable, organized and to cook, so for us a 5th wheel has much more counter space for prepping and clean-up. We're in our 4th full-time 5er and this one surpasses what we just traded in (2009 Mobile Suite). Of course, I customized the kitchen so it has what we need and not much that we don't need. Residential French Door/bottom freezer fridge is one of the best features and that's now standard for 2014 and up.
We also picked a model that had a 4' shower and it's so much nicer to have the extra room to turn around. We paid a little more for extra feature, but we knew what we needed. So it's well worth it.
