Since we fulltime, I have done all sorts of repairs and upgrades at CGs.
When we traded for our new truck I installed the 5th Wheel hitch in the new truck at a CG in Florida. (The truck dealer removed the old hitch from the truck we traded in)Since we went from a 6.5 Ft bed to a 8 Ft bed I sold the slider assembly and bought fixed mount brackets then remounted the head assembly.
I installed our Reico Titan Leveling System at a GA State Park.
I repacked our wheel bearings and inspected the brakes at a CG in Florida.
When living on the road, where else are you to do repairs.
I usually do not ask, (sometimes it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission) I watch the CG and see what others are doing, if there are long-term or fulltime residents at a CG then they have to do repairs at their site!
