agree that you should buy a cheaper travel trailer or used RV and go for 2 weeks at a time to see how it goes. The other way you can make the decision is the question "what's the worse thing that could happen and what would we do then" ... you already asked that question but didn't answer it. You need an exit plan if it doesn't work out. Maybe rent the house so you have it if you need to go back. The other biggie is that rent in an RV park is expensive, especially in certain areas at certain times of the year, for example winter in Florida. Some parks charge extra for more than 2 people.
