Full timing on wens day

We sold our home in Oklahoma moved to San Diego bought a 2007 KZ Esclade and are going to move into it on Wednesday. We are going stay in San Diego area for a year or two grand kids here. Any advice info will be help full as we have not stocked one item in the coach yet other than a new splendid combo ventless washer dryer platinum but have not even turned it on yet. Looking at santee lake area?

  • Hope you can travel a little too. You never know what the future holds or if you will have a chance to do it later.
  • Sympathize but don't laugh too hard (at least not out loud) at all of us still stuck at work! Hope to join you and many others in @ Oct. 2014. Until then, HAVE A GREAT TIME and have a cool one on any Monday for me!
  • mountain momma....our washer drained directly into the sewer discharge line. It did not go into a holding tank. So we left all valves closed until we dumped.
  • Thanks for the info any and all I have been too allot to states over 40 years just not in an RV any ideas on long term stays in San Diego may private sites or others that allow long term book ups

They need to leave the gray tank open when running the washer though, right?
  • Use liquid fabric softener for the washer-dryer, not fabric softener sheets. If you don't already have some items, remember weight. Less is more. Dollar stores and big box stores to buy storage bins and organizers. Get rid of as much as you can. Don't leave the black and gray tank valves open. We just started using full timer chemicals and it seems to work much better, especially in the hot weather we've been having. Camping World is a good place to look for ideas. (and spend money!)
  • Not sure what kind of advice you're looking for. By your map, it looks like you've already been around the block a time or 2.
