Leebley, my brother is a retired Seattle Police Officer and I used to teach police recruits in Colorado drug recognition techniques. I have a lot of respect for law enforcement officers, and you are correct about Federal campgrounds not allowing firearms.

Path1, my RV is my home so while I may leave my firearm with my brother or another relative; there is probably a penalty for leaving it in a bank lock box as well. I do hear what you’re saying about military bases; its’ a catch-22 situation, dammed if you do and dammed if you do not.
