Although I don't full time, I have often inquired about monthly rates at places I've stayed. They are all over the place usually based on location and how nice the place is. My wife was looking at a job in Southern California once and if she took it we would have spent a few months in the MH. There was a decent RV park in Huntington Beach that was right across the highway from the State Beach and they wanted $1200 a month. I didn't think that was a bad price at all considering the location. There is an RV park in Boron (middle of the Mojave Desert) that has a sign advertising a $350 a month monthly rate. It's all about location.
