Fulltimers RV insurance.

The wife and I retired end of July, sold the stick build and we've been fulltiming at our camp in WV. Will stay here from March thru sometime in November, then go to the Houston area for the winter, 11/16- 3/17. Our son, DIL and two grandsons are there. We're getting ready to purchase full timers insurance and as of now, will go with Progressive, it's set up more like home insurance than reg. RV insurance. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim

  • Contact this company and have them do some insurance searches for you to find the best price for what you want. We used them during our 16 years of full-timing. We always had them re-check prices every 3 years or so to get the best one. They deal with full-timers constantly.

Everyone's insurance will be different due to driving record, accidents, age, state and even credit score so you can't go on the person that has the cheapest insurance. It will be different for you. You just have to start calling around or go through Miller Insurance.
