A used Newmar would be a good choice as well - they no longer make fivers.
Friends just purchased a new Redwood fiver they state right up front on the website that they are for full time living. Looks really nice and so far - 2 weeks - they are happy with it.
We survive four to five months every winter with the RV fridge. We did put a small auxiliary freezer in our front compartment and that provides a lot of relief.
