Join a club for discount rates at RV parks, Escapees, is a good one. Chose your RV wisely. Pay cash for your RV if you can. DP are expensive to own and operate, unless you can service it yourself. Set aside enough of your home sale profits to get back into another home if it doesn't work out. Go for it. We did for five years, and loved every thing about it.
