You buy a new rig now, and in 10 yrs it'll be 10 yrs old and those fancy dancy RV parks won't let you in. So figure where you'd like to camp in the future.
In 10 yrs the RV will be worth considerably less than your home would've been worth. The inflation should start coming on homes......
We started full-timing, our house had sold, then the sale failed (right at the beginning of the downturn), so we kept the house. Not sorry the sale failed.....we discovered we didn't want to full-time it after 3 months. We now are snowbirds (for 6 months) and love it!!!!! Having a home-base turned out to be important to us.
We're in Arizona.....and other RVer here is right......it's been cold and we've spent a fortune on propane. (We dry camp)....Had we been at an RV park, we'd not only pay for the site, but we'd have to pay for the elect. we use.....can't imagine what that would be on the billing.....
