A Class A is not for living in while sitting in one place. I think that a fifth wheel or TT would be more suitable for that. You will have to dump the holding tanks every few days and in cold climate water line freezing is a worry. Most RV's aren't insulated well enough. If you decide to proceed, find a really good used Foretravel, Country Coach, Newmar, etc that is well insulated.
