Thanks to all for the advice and for the added info to research.
Perhaps my definition of "full time" is a transitional one. I could see us living in an RV park near my current location in a few months as we work out all the details before we're ready to hit the road. I'm not going to just hop in an RV and drive away from my current life; it'll be a transition.
If I'm building a schoolie from scratch, I fully expect it to take 6-12 months to get it sea worthy. I'm not 100% decided on a skoolie yet, but I do see quite a few advantages.
