thanks dahkota. I'm not 100% set on building my own beast, but it could be a fun project.
If I find another solution that meets my needs, by all means I'll pick it up, but what's really proving to be difficult is a spot to store our bikes. I like a lot of 5th wheel toy haulers, but those are pretty big, and I'd rather have a small 4x4 toad than a big dually diesel for driving around town.
We plan on staying in a spot for 2-10 weeks at a time before moving on to the next spot, and we will need to be able to work from our RV. A lot of the floorplans don't provide the workspace we liked, so we were attracted to building our own. Plus we could use beefier materials in a bus.
I appreciate everyone's thoughts, we are so new to this that the seasoned vetrans' experience is very helpful.
