It might be better to start from a 'cut away' chassis such as the ones intended to be class C motorhomes.
If we do a bus, we will be doing it ourselves. I have a lot of welding and metal fabrication experience, and I'm a decent mechanic. On the construction front, I have no experience framing or designing homes.
If we were to build a bus, it'd be an older, retired school bus. Something like a 1996.
I know nothing about a cutaway chassis, I'll have to look in to that. I really like the super Cs, but regular class Cs are a little too light-duty for what we're looking for.
