Help with propane hook up

Question

My husband and I are fairly new at being full timers. Need some help please. We have an external 100 gallon propane tank available for our use. The issue is that it sets about 25 feet away. We can't move it. We were told using a 25 ft hose to connect was not a good idea.
Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions so that we can hook up to the tank safely.

If this is a relatively permanent situation, then a buried coated copper line should be workable. If it passes under any high traffic areas, it should be encased in conduit. For safety, I'd recommend using a split two stage regulator, with the intermediate regulator at the tank, and the final regulator at the RV. The RV regulator would not be used in that case. The LP supplier may be willing to set you up for a nominal charge.

Im a plumber 30 years.. Pipe to the RV in soft copper... Bury it 1 ft per code....

Be safe!  Call your local gas company that probably owns the tank, and have them connect it for you according to codes.
