I thought I was the only one, I had been lurking on various fulltimer forums, read every book on the subject and basically dreamed of the day for almost 15 years. There were children to raise, careers to focus on but in July, 2014 with all of the kids out and educated, a early retirement package that came out of the blue and a very supportive spouse, we are on the road. I will tell you that it is the best thing I ever did. As said before, not for everyone but for my wife and I it is the best way to live.
Good luck in the future and if you want it, develop a plan and make it happen.
