High Level Q: TT vs FW for Full-timing?

We're not full timers nor have we owned a FW. But if we were going full time, I'd want a 1 ton diesel truck and a FW for the living space and storage. IMHO, only a very small percentage of foks would be happy full timing in a travel trailer....but I don't doubt that there are those who can.
Now, you could get a really heavy duty truck and if you could get a good deal on a TT that you think would work, you could try it for a year. The you would have the option of selling the trailer and get a FW and be in the position to take as much time as possible finding a great deal.
