Between TT and FW, I vote FW. I don't doubt that a person can get a good towing experience with a TT, but it takes a lot more doing than a FW does. Great towing and easy hitching and unhitching is the default situation with a fiver.
The more you plan to travel, the better a motorhome would be. The more you plan to sit, the better a trailer can be. IMO of course. And get bunks for the kids so you don't have to build/unbuild beds every time. All of the RV types can be found with bunks.
