Our last business was a Document Shredding Company. Actually thought it would take awhile to sell but happened to mention that I was going to sell it to a friend and a few weeks later he bought it. Got what we wanted for it . Didn't make a big profit on it . I sold a oilfield service company several years ago and came out very well on it. I've started and sold several businesses over the years and have never used a broker. The oilfield company was the largest and most complicated to sell and took several months to complete. The buyer of that company was a large international company that sought us out. I will eventually settle back into another house / area and start another business but plan to see a lot of the country before we do settle again. Maybe a year or so who knows .
