Just kinda wondering, since we plan to begin traveling a bit more in the future when retirement kicks in: Do any of you full timers hang on to a S&B home base even though you travel most of the time?

It would help us offer advice if we understood why you might want to keep the house.
I sold my primary home before I started fulltiming. But I've always owned several seasonal 2nd homes. After 4 yrs of fulltime RV living, I developed some of my seasonal homes into part time RV home bases. I then transitioned from fulltimer to year round part timer. The only thing different is when I'm ready for a 3 month seasonal stop, I stay on my own property instead of an RV park. I still travel year round, just don't stay in RV parks for extended stays.
