how do you make your tanks last so long?
I read all these posts about people boondocking and having their tanks last 2 weeks or even more... How the heck do you do that? Even with navy showers, we are lucky to go 3 days... Our motor...

First find out what drains into which tank.
My sink in the bathroom drains into the black tank. And I have small tanks and was constantly having to dump. When I am with my RV friends caravaning that became a real pain.
I found out that I washed my hands all the time in the bathroom sink. That and brushing my teeth and leaving the water run like you do at home.
Simply by changing to washing my hands in the kitchen sink and when needed to extend the black tank time brushing my teeth in the kitchen sink.
Just by changing those 2 things I was able to extend my dump time an additional week. For me one person I can go one month before having to dump. And that's flushing after each use. Can't do that not flush every time thing!
