We store things in our oven, but we also use our oven (with a pizza stone in it to help things cook more evenly) probably once a week. Convection oven and Microwave is good for a lot of things, but there are certain things (like the pizza we baked tonight) that the oven is just better.
As others have said, personal preference, but we're glad we have one.
