We put on about 11,000 miles per year fulltiming. BUT we don't have a house- no mortgage payments, no property tax, etc. We also have a car that we pull that gets great gas mileage and we use that for sightseeing. We make extensive use of membership parks to reduce our cost per day. Since 2008 we have averaged about $350 or less per month for diesel. Some months we may only use 50 gallons of fuel. Others, we may go through 3-4 tank fulls as we move across sections of the country.
Fulltiming isn't like being on vacation - it is a way of life and once you slow down, you get to enjoy each area before moving on to the next.
