I took a 17 days vacation and I was very surprise how much I spend for the Diesel.How can a retire can afford that.I spend 950$ for the diesel for that trip.

I don't see any alternative modes of travel in your signature line. I'd bet that Newmar could tow a Cooper Mini or a Smart car. Or you could hang a motorcycle on the front of the truck.
