Not a FT'er but I live in coastal deeeep south (North Florida) where 95T/90H are common this time of year. Keep that A/C cranking on high and enjoy a real summer. Obviously if you see some mildew form around windows and doors you should clean it off otherwise I have never really experienced any issue with it.

- Yikes..why are you in Indiana and Kentucky for 3 summer months? If it's to visit the family, plan next year to do it in the fall.
- try to get a shady campsite
- get a site that has mid-day shade on your refrigerator
- get a site so you're not facing the sun in your motorhome with that big windshield
- keep your shades drawn
- Run the air conditioner (which in those temps, you probably already do)
- Leave vents cracked open
- Minimize your stove/oven cooking - plan 'cool' meals. When you do cook, turn on your exhaust fan, don't use a crockpot (or else plug it in outside during the day)
- Take cooler, shorter showers, dry the shower walls; hang wet towels over a lawn chair outside to dry
- don't use your washer/dryer if you have one
- in the morning, pull your mattress away from the wall a few inches to let the condensation dry out

If you have problems after doing all of the above, you'll just have to buy that dehumidifier. Good luck!

Plenty of ventilation, as stated by others, use exhaust fans, especially when cooking & showering. Your RV insulation will determine amount of condensation. Our 5th wheel is well insulated with dual pane windows and have never had any condensation in high or low temps after nearly 3 yrs full time.

80% RH and 90 DegF is not all that high. Wiat until it really gets humid.

For the high humidity cooler days, run a small cube heater on the low setting and the roof air at the same time. This will create enough load to force the A/C to run some and it will dry out the trailer. This is basically what a dehumidifier does. It cols the air to drop the dew point and then blows the air over the condenser for reheat.

Use your shower vent fan while showering dry shower with towel afterward. Use range hood vent when cooking. We have a ceiling fan that has been running for 4 1/2 years as we fulltime. Only time it doesn't run is when we're on the road or it needs a cleaning.

I don't think I'd be running a heater. You try that in the Deep South and you're gonna die for sure...heat stroke and worse.

Keep the doors/windows/roof vents closed, shades drawn and the a/c running in both the front and back. Use that silver stuff (can't think of the name) that blocks the heat from your windows. The idea is to keep the humidity out and the way to do that is do not open the windows.

go to the dollar store and buy damp rid... buy the kind with the little buckets... (only $2-$3 a bucket) and sit them out.. when they are half full of water, replace.. also keep ac running to help.

Although I don't FT, I keep my TT plugged in and AC on mid 80's with several of the damp rid buckets in it. I have not had problems with mold. Keeping the air circulating is critical along with moisture capture. and yes, we have high humidity and high temps.. it was 99 degrees here yesterday with humidity enough to make heat index be 108
