InstellarOrchard's Full-Timing Guide

I have been following this blog for awhile: interstellarorchard.com now and she just put out a "guide" for full-timing. I downloaded it yesterday and was amazed at all the information she had gathered. The information is generic so, although she is a single full-timer, it could easily be applied to others. We have been involved in RVing for more than 25 years and this guide is more impressive than any book I have seen so far. She manages to cover everything. I have not been through the worksheets and other attachments yet since I can only read so much at a time but I am guessing they will be worthwhile.

Becky full-times in a Casita, 17 foot, molded fiberglass rv and workamps along the way. Gosh, to be 30 years younger and doing this would be so awesome but I still have time.

If you are watching the RV industry (my passion), you'll see that downsizing to make the lifestyle more popular and doable is growing. I am hoping to full-time in a Scamp Deluxe or Casita with my "crew". I have been working on this dream since I first saw snowbirds in AZ in 1990. I had no idea this was something that people did and I wanted to do it too. It is nearly my turn now and I'm not waiting until retirement!

  • Thank you for the mention Cathy. :) I'm so glad you found 'Solo Full-time RVing On A Budget' helpful and informative! I hope you and your crew find that perfect trailer soon and have a blast on the open road. There's no reason to have to wait until retirement to go full-timing, it just requires a bit more thought and effort (well worth it).

Bill & Ann - Thank you also for purchasing my guide, I hope you enjoyed it!

EsoxLucius - From Wisconsin Rapids originally, but I went to tech school in Madison! It's a nice city.
  • Thanks for the link, brookside,

This young gal has put a lot of good information for all RVers out there. It's worth buying the guide just to support the effort, but her experience and point of view are also valuable.
