Insurance company that insures rebuilt title 5th wheel.

Check with Miller RV Insurance. Like was mentioned, they're an agent for multiple companies and are very familiar with RVers. They might be able to help.

thanks for all your comments i will look into Formost and Alfa as mentioned by two of you.

We also do have a car with a rebuilt title. we had no issues at all with the car. we have insured it with a few different carriers over the years. nobody seemed to give any issue with the rebuilt part.

For the RV, we tried all the typical RV insurance companies and all of them said the same thing, almost implying "why would you consider buying a salved or rebuilt RV?" Fairly odd.

Progressive, Goodsam, and a few others all did not want to insure it.

Have you checked with your state to see if a fully repaired unit can have the title changed back to a regular title? Some states do allow that with certain paperwork and inspection.

Here's a thought. Talk to an independent insurance agent. One who sells insurance from several companies. They may not be able to insure you, but they may be able to offer advice and steer you in the right direction. I doubt you are going to get much useful information here. One more thing, was there any paper work stating that it was rebuilt back to factory specs? It's something that an insurance company might require.

I bought a company truck a few years ago with a salvage title and I insure it with our regular agent just like the rest of our vehicles.

We have a car with a salvaged title, front end was totaled and rebuilt. Saved over $6000 buying it. We insure through Alfa. When I spoke to my agent prior to purchasing he said once it's rebuilt it insures just like any other vehicle.

You may Reach out to Foremost insurance. They write a policy that covers you for liability and contents with minimal vehicle coverage.

Not ALL Insurance Co's sell insurance in EVERY STATE.

BEST place to go to in the OPs situation is to seek out an INDEPENDENT INSURANCE AGENT in their OWN STATE.

Independent Insurance Agents are not locked into one insurance company. This allows them to shop around quotes from other insurance underwriters.

OP can go to INDEPENDENTAGENT.COM and search for independent agents near them.
